Black Forest Collective GmbH and Wild Europe e.V., in collaboration with the Mioritics Association from Romania and the Centre for the Protection and Research of Birds (CZIP), present "Digital Storytelling for Young Environmental Activists." Our project aims to combine the art of storytelling with nature conservation, harnessing the power of modern technologies to inspire and empower young people to protect the environment.

As part of the project, Black Forest Collective has developed a comprehensive digital video course that focuses on creating impactful content related to environmental issues, nature protection, wildlife, biodiversity, and the effects of climate change.

With the increasing digitalization in schools, our project recognizes the potential of storytelling and technology, particularly smartphones, in engaging and educating young minds. By fostering creativity and providing the tools to express their environmental concerns through compelling videos, we aim to encourage young people to contribute to the protection of our planet actively.

Participating youth has the opportunity to submit their films to a European film competition, where they can showcase their talent and perspectives. The selected finalists will be invited to the film festival in Rasnov, Romania, from 29th to 2nd September 2023. This unique event will provide a platform for young creators to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in a week-long program of eco-oriented activities.

Through this collaborative effort between Black Forest Collective, the Mioritics Association, CZIP, and other partners, we strive to ignite a passion for environmental activism and empower young voices to impact our planet positively.
